Also my birthday! But no one cares about that.
Anyways that's pretty cool. I don't really go to cons for anything, but still.

Saving up all month this month and til the last Friday before the launch of Wii U to make sure I have enough for one and the purchase doesn't put me in the red. Might even get Mass Effect 3 for it. Maybe. But the biggest things about November this year, to me at least, are Thanksgiving, Wii U, and FiM Season 3.

Does anyone know why Sunday is $10 cheaper than Saturday. Are some of the vendors leaving after Saturday? Or is it something else.

a) I'll be there.

b) Later than I expected. Given The Hub is a division of Hasbro, I would have thought it would be timed to finish up just before Christmas for maximum impact on sales. Then again, we haven't heard what the schedule is going to be. They might double up a bunch of them.

c) Not a console player, and watching the Wii U presentation from E3 isn't going to alter that. For a lot of what I saw, my reaction was "That would be the most annoying thing to deal with in a game since the invention of the Quicktime event."

In response to your opinion about the Wii U: I agree. That book thing was way lame and most of the games they showed were way too casual for their message that they're trying to get hardcore gamers to buy their machine again. Arkham City, Mass Effect 3, and Darksiders II coming aboard are all well and good, but these are games that those who wanted them already have them. The only game that's new to a Nintendo system they've shown since they announced the machine that I'm truly excited for is Tekken. Despite this, though, I'm still going to give it a shot because it has potential and the only developers giving it a vote of no confidence are total idiots who wouldn't know how to make a truly great game if their lives depended on it. There's a reason people who consider themselves hardcore gamers still play Mario and The Legend of Zelda, you know. I'm not trying to change your mind, though. I'm just saying.
